FAQ

Common questions

Answers to what customers most often ask before booking a class or party at Gelateria Luna.
How do I book a class or party?

All classes and parties are booked online through the booking page on this site. Choose the session you want, select a date and group size where applicable, and follow the steps to confirm your place. You will receive a confirmation by email.

Do I need any experience to join the beginner class or sorbet workshop?

No prior experience is needed for either. The beginner gelato class and the sorbet workshop are both designed for people who have never made frozen desserts before. If you have made gelato before and want something more advanced, get in touch at info@gelateria-luna.demo to discuss what would suit you.

What age is the kids' birthday party suitable for?

The party is designed for children aged 5 to 12. Younger children are welcome if a parent or guardian stays close by to help them at their workstation. The session lasts 90 minutes and includes making gelato and eating it together at the end.

Can parents stay during the kids' birthday party?

Yes, parents and guardians are welcome to stay and watch. The space is set up for the children to work, so there is limited seating for adults, but you are welcome to be present throughout.

What is included in the price for classes and parties?

All ingredients and equipment are included. For the beginner class you also take home a tub of the gelato you made. For the sorbet workshop you take home both sorbets. For the kids' birthday party each child receives a take-home tub, and the birthday child gets an extra scoop to take away. The private tasting covers all flavours served during the session.

Can you accommodate allergies or dietary requirements?

Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when you book, or send a note to info@gelateria-luna.demo before your session. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment as the kitchen handles dairy, nuts and other common allergens.

Can I buy gelato without booking anything?

Yes. The shop counter sells cones and tubs daily during opening hours with no booking required. Take-home extras such as the gelato-making kit and extra flavour tubs are also available at the counter. Online booking is only for classes and parties.
