FAQ

Common questions

Answers to what most customers ask before booking a class or event at Gelateria Luna.
How do I book a class or party?

All classes and private events are booked online through this website. Choose the session you want, pick a date and time, and complete the booking form. You will receive a confirmation by email.

Do I need any experience to join the beginner gelato class?

No. The beginner class is designed for people who have never made gelato before. All ingredients and equipment are provided, and the session covers everything from the start.

What is the difference between the gelato class and the sorbet workshop?

The gelato class focuses on dairy-based recipes, covering how to build a base with milk and cream. The sorbet workshop uses only fruit and sugar, with no dairy. Both sessions last two hours and follow a similar hands-on format.

How far in advance do I need to book a birthday party?

At least one week in advance. This gives us time to prepare ingredients and materials for the group size you have chosen. For larger groups or specific dates, booking earlier is sensible.

Are the private tastings and parties priced per person or per group?

Both are priced per group. You choose a group size (up to 6, up to 12, or up to 20) when you book, and the price shown is the total for that group, not a per-person rate.

Can I buy a gelato-making kit without attending a class?

Yes. The kits are available directly from the shop counter. No booking is needed. They also make a straightforward gift for anyone who enjoyed a class and wants to continue at home.

What are the shop opening hours for walk-in counter service?

The counter is open daily for cones and tubs. For current opening times, contact us at info@gelateria-luna.demo or check the details at Västerlånggatan 27, 111 29 Stockholm.
